How do I add an image to my signature
Mailshake gives you full flexibility to edit your email signature which gets added to all of your emails sent through Mailshake. To learn more, visit our setup guide.
You can insert images into your signature, but we don't recommend it for cold emailing because it can negatively affect your spam score. Too many images in your emails can cause your prospect's mail provider to flag you for spam depending on their spam filters.
That said, we've put this guide together to show you how to add an image to your signature should you wish to do so.
- Click Mail Accounts
- Click the mail account you'd like to edit
- Click Settings, then scroll down and click Signature
Once you get to this point, you have a couple options:
- Use the insert image option to add an image to your signature. Keep in mind we offer limited formatting tools since we don't recommend adding images to signatures. Your image will need to be hosted somewhere
- Copy and paste your signature that you already have. Some formatting may not work well in our editor so this option might require a little bit of editing once you've pasted it in the signature
- Create a signature that you can copy and paste into the signature editor. Hubspot has a great, free signature creator. If you go this route, we'd recommend removing most of the photos and social media links. Again, too many links and images can cause your emails to get flagged for spam which will hurt your deliverability long term.
Once you've added in your image/signature, don't forget to click Save.
