Connect Your Sending Email Account

So you've signed up for Mailshake and you're ready to start sending right? Great! Let's start off by connecting your sending email address. We've got a few options for you to connect your sending email account. Select your option below to view the respective step-by-step walkthrough video:

Not sure which to choose? We personally recommend GSuite with your own custom domain for sending.

Connect your Gmail/Google Workspaces (formerly GSuite) email address

To connect your Gmail/Google Workspaces (formerly GSuite) email address, all you'll need is your email address and login password.

You can connect both @gmail.com and Google Workspaces (formerly GSuite) email addresses with your own domain. For deliverability, we recommend using your own domain rather than @gmail.com addresses.

Connect your Microsoft email address

To connect your Microsoft Office365/Outlook/Exchange email address, all you'll need is your email address and login password. If you're trying to connect a different mail account than your own, you’ll want to log out of your Microsoft account in a new tab so that Microsoft doesn't connect the wrong mail account. Click here for a shortcut.

Note: If you have a custom Exchange server, you'll likely need to connect with our SMTP option. Microsoft requires different authorization for Exchange server accounts. For more info, check out Microsoft's guide.

You can connect any @outlook, Office365 email address with your own domain, or Exchange email addresses. For deliverability, we recommend using your own domain rather than @outlook.com email addresses.

Connect any email address with SMTP

To connect your email account with SMTP, you'll need to make sure you have all of the right information to connect:

  • Email Address
  • Full Name used for sending
  • SMTP Host (Server Address) and Port Number
  • SMTP Username (this is usually your email address)
  • SMTP Password
  • IMAP Host (Server Address) and Port Number
  • IMAP Username (this is usually your email address)
  • IMAP Password

Not sure about your SMTP or IMAP server information? You'll need to reach out to your email provider in order to get the correct information.  Click here for more info
