What is an archived campaign?
Archiving Campaigns
When your campaign is finished running and you no longer plan to use it, you may want to archive your campaign. Archiving campaigns keeps the campaign data available, but moves it to the Archived view so that you can keep your main campaign page nice and organized.
To archive one campaign:
- Click the campaign you wish to archive
- Click Actions
- Click Archive
To archive multiple campaigns:
- Select the checkbox next to each campaign you'd like to archive
- Click Change Status in the grew menu bar that appears
- Click Archive
Unarchiving Campaigns
If you'd like to use an archived campaign, you can unarchive the campaign in the Campaigns section.
- Click Archived
- Click the campaign you'd like to unarchive
- Click Actions
- Click Unarchive
Why is one of my old campaigns archived?
As part of our automated health checks and maintenance, Mailshake may periodically archive old, inactive campaigns. Archived campaigns can be restored to their full form simply by clicking the "Unarchive Campaign" button when viewing your campaign. If you are a recurring, paying customer your campaigns will not be automatically archived.
The following actions are not possible on archived campaigns:
- Adding recipients
- Editing messages
- Viewing full campaign performance data
- Interacting via Zapier or the API
