How do I host images for email?

When you send emails, images don't actually live in the email. You might be used to big platforms like Google or Microsoft that upload and auto-host images when you drag and drop an image into your email.

When sending via Mailshake, you'll need to make sure your images are hosted rather than uploading. This means you'll want to host your images before you add them to your emails. We've outlined a couple of options for hosting images below. 😊

Host your image on a hosting platform - Easy

While there are free options like ImageBB or Photobucket, we recommend using a paid service for more reliable image hosting.

Photobucket offers paid plans that make sure your images will always be live and won't show up as broken images in your emails. With a service like this, it's easy to upload your photos and get a public URL that you can use to add a photo to your emails.

Host your image on your web server - Hard

This one isn't for the faint of heart. But if you're familiar with web servers and hosting, this is the best option! If you're not sure where to start, we'd recommend checking with your IT person or whoever manages your website. They'll be able to help you with this.
