How do I host images for email?
When you send emails, images don't actually live in the email. You might be used to big platforms like Google or Microsoft that actually auto-host images for you when you drag and drop an image into your email.
When sending via Mailshake, you'll just need to make sure your images are hosted. We've outlined a couple of options for hosting images below. 😊
Host your image on a hosting platform - Easy
While there are free options like ImageBB or Photobucket, we recommend using a paid service for more reliable image hosting.
Photobucket offers paid plans that make sure your images will always be live and won't show up as broken images in your emails. With a service like this, it's easy to upload your photos and get a public URL that you can use to add a photo to your emails.
Host your image on Google Drive - Medium
This option can sometimes be a little trickier since Google Drive doesn't make it easy for you to embed these images in HTML format, though it is possible with a little extra work. Check out this guide for more info.
Host your image on your web server - Hard
This one isn't for the faint of heart. If you're familiar with web servers and hosting, this is a good option. But if you're not sure where to start, we'd recommend checking with your IT person or whoever manages your website. They'll be able to help you with this.
