General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
In 2016, the EU Parliament and Council agreed upon the 2018 EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which took effect on May 25, 2018. Mailshake does not and cannot offer you any legal advice on what actions you may need to take to comply with the GDPR. However, Mailshake has been and continues to implement various policies and safeguards to ensure that we are complying with the regulation and providing our customers with tools that may help them comply.
Among other things, Mailshake encrypts all data in-transit and at-rest and will delete any data of a person when they send their request as an email to hello@mailshake.com. As a customer of Mailshake, you can also make a similar request on the behalf of any of your recipients to have their data deleted from Mailshake. If you have any further questions about the steps taken by Mailshake with respect to GDPR compliance, please contact us at hello@mailshake.com.
